Sauce by Dark Tickle

Located in the gorgeous Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, the Dark Tickle Company produces a unique line of food products. They are dedicated to crafting delicious products from a variety of wild berries that are indigenous to the area. In order to produce a premium product, the berries are processed by hand without the addition of any additives.
Processing is handled by a relatively small number of people within the company. Approximately 100 individual pickers cover a large area including the top half of the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland, the coastal regions of southern Labrador, and northeastern Quebec. In areas such as these, picking berries has historically been and still is a strong tradition, but it is now also perhaps one step in the diversification of the fishery-based economy.
